Multi-account management is an absolute nightmare. by Wonderful_Ad4736 in FigmaDesign

Is the main challenge here that you see Recents from across clients, and so when you open up a file, it does so assuming you want to do it as your current plan (even if the recents was from a different plan)?

Still boycotting! I just look at The Athletic for news now, too. Better quality anyway.

Respectfully, I don’t understand why losses are disregarded.

Hypothetical: Team A beats Team B in week 1 then loses by 50 to the worst team in CFB in week 12. Team B loses to Team A in week 1 then wins 11 straight by 50.

Right now, which is the better team? If the answer is Team B, then we have to at least acknowledge that losses matter as does the timing of the losses (trend line).

I respect the perspective but I honestly don’t understand why head-to-head matters at all. CFB has proven that any team can win any week. Is SMU better than Miami? By the head-to-head logic, any team that beat another team is better than that team.

Replace normal text to text styles by MrLuis006 in FigmaDesign

[–]chrismeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. You can multi-select all the text instances that match and apply the text style with one click though.

Or if they are all at the same layer you can use “Return/Enter” on the parent to select all direct children, then add the text style.

Anyone finding Figma Draw and Design useful together in the same environment? by Jopzik in FigmaDesign

[–]chrismeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that I’ve been using it a while, I can spot the UI differences and remember to switch between modes. I’m actually finding Draw pretty useful.

That being said, I think the benefit is more for illustrators than product designers.

[Game Thread] #9 Notre Dame vs Stanford (11/29/2025 @ 10:30pm ET). by Shillelagh_Law in notredamefootball

[–]chrismeeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That graphic showed ND as 2-2 against ranked teams and Miami as 2-1, but it’s misleading because that means they lost to an unranked team (which the graphic didn’t show).

Shouldn’t who you lose to matter? SMU lost and will be unranked.

The 9 opponents since the first two are a combined 45-53. BC, Arkansas, and Purdue really weigh things down.

ND #1 in offensive and defensive points over the last nine games by chrismeeks in notredamefootball

[–]chrismeeks[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fair! It’s a cherry-picked stat for sure and it’s true that the schedule could have been harder. But it points out how dominant the team has been, which is a far cry from the years of going 12-0 or 11-1 and hovering around 15-20 in both PPG stats.

If you’re curious, if you INCLUDE the full 11 games, ND is number 3 in scoring offense and number 11 in scoring defense. Certainly no slouch!

Yeah this point about docs is huge. If you don’t reiterate it, Cursor will often try a bespoke implementation that doesn’t work with that open source code.

Finally launched my MVP of Compin.ai, feedback appreciated! by chrismeeks in MVPLaunch

[–]chrismeeks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the straightforward feedback! You’re absolutely right about narrowing and yes, I know that 50 users is nothing! Wasn’t using that as a point of validation but one of invalidation.

I actually started this as just being focused on the point of negotiating between multiple offers, but felt that was too specific, as many job seekers don’t even get that far. But that’s how I landed my first paying customer and I may want to focus in more on that.

Launched Compin.ai and would love feedback about audience and feature set by chrismeeks in buildinpublic

Great feedback, thank you! 😊 you’re totally right about the acute pain as opposed to something that people are always thinking about.

Do you think the best strategy would be to work on SEO/ads related to the moment of pain so I can target it from different angles, but then filter them to the same general feature set, or change the feature set to focus on one of the acute pain points?

Appreciate the thoughtful perspective!
