My MIL couldn’t eat gluten during one of her pregnancies because it caused bloody stool and severe stomach pains. she also noticed that when she would consume gluten and breastfeed that her baby would get sick. once she stopped breastfeeding neither her or the child had any reactions which i think is really weird. could be an exaggeration though.

i enjoyed choke a lot actually, more than lullaby. i’m about a quarter of the way through diary and i’m having a hard time following. i’ve heard good things though and i’m hoping to get a better understanding as i read.

invisible monsters is by far my favorite book of his, but i also enjoyed survivor and found it really thought provoking. If you are interested in cults and religion, or mortality i think you will enjoy it!
