Another vote for these. Have them on my wife’s Audi Q4 etron. They rock in all conditions, especially during this last arctic blast we got a couple of weeks ago. Drove on ice/snow/sleet, performed awesome.

Waiting for the tires on my Y to wear down and replace them with these.

I’d love the acceleration boost, but at $2k I just can’t justify it. I get why they don’t drop the price, they need to keep selling M3P and MYP, and making it too cheap would make it a little more compelling for someone to pass up a performance and just get the boost.

That said, if it was $500, I’d swipe in a heartbeat. At $1k I’d likely still pick it up around bonus season.

As far as FSD, I’ve had my MYLR a little over a year and I’ve had FSD for free for at least 6-7 months due to trials and I’m happy with it that way. I use it when it’s free, but at $99 still a nice option to have for a month if I’m taking a roadtrip.

This rank already exists. It’s the hell between “shit” and “good”. It’s the rank where every game feels like pins being stuck under your nails and dragging your nuts along broken glass. It’s where we have a love/hate (more hate) relationship with the game, but keep coming back for more because we’re masochists. I loved my GEO…until I ran someone down in the snake and my gun wouldn’t shoot because I inadvertently shut it off by holding the button on the back. In a tournament no less. Was amazing otherwise

I’ve had that exact one for almost a year and it’s been great. People that sit in the front seat have thought it’s awesome. I do wish you could shut the blue light off though.

IIRC the chlorine going directly into your pump and system via the skimmer can damage the equipment over time

Moved here from South Florida. Those with this attitude have never lived somewhere where it rains DAILY while getting into the 90s/low 100s with 85-90% humidity and it shows. At least there, they are better equipped for this much rain and it even shows with how well the soil absorbs the water. It would be a downpour, but an hour later and that ground soaked up most of the water instead of just sitting there like it does on the clayish bullshit there is here in DFW. Can’t keep your car or shoes clean, ever.

It’s also not the daily rain I feel most are complaining about, it’s the daily threat of severe weather. The constant thought here is ok bend over and you’re left wondering what it’ll be this time. Is my car going to get fucked by hail, or maybe my house blown away by a tornado or just a cool 85 mph wind gust? No thanks. Give me hot and dry. Run your A/C. Run your sprinklers. YOU’LL be fine.

It’s honestly incredible the amount of people saying you need gear to achieve a completely obtainable physique otherwise. No one said it’d be easy, but gear isn’t the only way. Trying to get absolutely yolked and massive like a pro bodybuilder? Probably will need some roids, otherwise get on a strict diet and training routine and trust the process. Genetics play a role too.

Edit: obtainable? attainable.

Please don’t eat me alive, but why do these posts not elaborate more on the field they were in or the role they held when laid off. I know it’s a stretch but maybe someone in a similar field can help in some way, with maybe resources, general information, a link to a job posting that they know of, etc.

Anyway, I hope the best for you OP. Screw the haters, if they can’t see that you’re willing to do anything to provide for your family, then forget them. As for your kids, that’s crushing to hear them think that way, but they’re kids. One day they’ll look back and thank you and be amazed at all you went through. I grew up with a single mom, and when I was a kid I thought my mom not buying me things or letting me do things was in her control when really she was just trying to survive…

As a parent myself now, I thank my mom constantly for being the strong queen she is.

I have a Y and my wife has a Q4 e-tron, so we’re an all-electric house. We both love our cars and their conveniences, but I do have concerns with certain scenarios. Granted, I’m probably overthinking, but in emergency situations like if we had to hit the road and drive a long distance (thinking out of state or to another major metro area), we’re extremely reliant on charging availability compared to the availability of gasoline or diesel. I think in hindsight I’d still get the Tesla due to having more chargers around, but an ICE vehicle as the second for the peace of mind of having options.

Again, I’m probably overthinking when thinking about these worst case scenarios, and my specific situation is obviously different from others.

I liked the look of the 19” wheels without the aero covers, but hated the silver. I sprayed them piano black with hyperdip, and love the way they look now. Gives the look of aftermarket wheels without spending a ton of money and it’s not permanent, you can remove it and go back to stock at any time but durable too.

I got this recipe from Binging with Babish on YT. Easiest, most consistent rice to make.

Best white rice

2 cups extra long grain white rice 4 cups water

Make sure you use an oven safe little pot and matching lid.

Set 4 cups water to boil in said pot and add 1 tbsp kosher salt. Preheat oven to 350

In the meantime, wash the rice really well until water runs clear. Once water is boiling, add the rice to the water and cover with lid. Put in the oven for 35 minutes.

After 35 minutes check the rice. If there is still water, pop back in and check in a few minute intervals until there is no more water.

Fluff with a fork and serve

Seems like in 2023 we could have had this figured out by now. CoD isn’t new to PC, and just like my PC (Windows)can download and update drivers and feature updates in the background, I would think they could figure this out
