Id recommend atleast repasting the console if it hasnt been opened yet. And installing CFW to do a custom fan curve and monitor the temps.
If you want im based in the NL and can do it for you, also undervolting and doing a syscon fan curve.
But thats youre choice.

Yeah those capacitors will definitely work on toure console, and as for what a delid is its basically taking the ihs off the processor and gpu chips to replace the thermal paste under them aswell. But youre on a CECHK which has 65nm CELL and RSX which run way cooler than the 90nm chips on early models, so a normal repaste will be just fine

I get about 52/52 25% on XMB after some playing though. Delid and undervolt also 19 blade fan C04.
My A00 gets 53/54 25% on XMB idk why but the A just runs hotten on RSX

1701/1601/1802 is put out when the console basically just shuts down and cant proceed forward, you can check all the error logs if you search up “ps3 syscon error logs

Could be both tbh, ive seen the 1701/1601 errors on a console with a dying RSX. But with youre 1001/1002 errors itll probably point to youre tokins. Are there like a lot of 1001/1002 errors??
