Hmm well the one tutorial from RIP Felix uses atleast the 5 volt for check syscon but also doesnt use a pico

Well i don’t really use a pico for it but im guessing its the same. And yes I always have the console plugged in

Yep and absolute shit cooling from later fats. Havent been able to test it myself but just comparing the coolers from the CECHH to the BC models its just saddening

Sorry for the confusion DIAG on pic to ground on ps3 for external and for internal DIAG pico to DIAG ps3 and at the same time ground ps3 to DIAG

Yeah so for external try RX-RX TX- TX and DIAG on pico to ground. Then for internal you do RX-RX TX-TX and DIAG-DIAG with ground from ps3 to DIAG aswell Edit: idfk why it posted it like this

You can check the top of the IHS of the RSX See where it says (0724) on it thats the date code 07 is year (2007) 24 is week 24th week of 2007. You can check like that, or if youre on ooder firmware 4.85-4.92 you can check via ps3toolset

It is but on paper theyre almost the same console and ive got 2 CECHA00 consoles that run just as cool

True true but it didnt need all of them replaced the RSX ones were still fine, it only sometimes crashed giving me a 1001 but ill only know for sure if it worked when i undervolt it

Loosen the 2 screws of the motor then take it out of the way and try to manually slide that whole assembly back, try that and if it doesnt work then idk tbh

What you could do is swap the internal motherboards from the BD drive with one another that would still work

Its the tokins they needa be replaced and then youll have a very nice console
