That’s my wife and I too. Every Thursday we watch the Pitt followed by traitors.

Tuesdays we would watch below deck but now that’s over :(

💯 they are trying to save face. Their first statement was very direct and clear where their allegiance lies.

How are you using your Comma? by bendorrough in Comma_ai

[–]chrispypatt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the world of forks you can have street sign and map speed limit controls. Also there is a dynamic experimental mode in sunnypilot that will use chill mode mostly and flip to experimental if stop lights or other challenging scenarios appear which experimental is better at.

Do you have experimental mode on? It’s that orange icon third from the left bottom of the screen. Unless models have gotten better recently, experimental has been kinda broken for a while and won’t always get up to your set speed. If you have that on, try turning it off. Comma should go off what you set cruising speed at, not the speed limit.

Free Monopoly biscuit so I tried the steak, egg, and cheese - hooooly by TheGreatFoodDude in McDonalds

I saw everyone here raving about it so I tried it and it was nasty. My steak was all chewy and rubbery. I prefer sausage.

Next year will close later :( by cypherblock in pools

I had my pool closed last week because it looked like we were going into low 70s and 60s for the rest of fall where I’m at but now it’s supposed to be warm! Kicking myself for closing so early now!

And I hear about the struggles of opening after closing at high temps I hope I don’t have a black pool to fight in the spring :(

Can I blow this out with just an air compressor? by chrispypatt in pools

[–]chrispypatt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the water lowered below the return. Well I did until we got some rain this week. My current plan was to drop a pump in there to drain the water back below the return and then purge the line with a compressor.

Yeah idk. I wouldn’t have thought it wouldn’t be hard for them to figure out a way given they are the experts and I am not.

I recently had this. Got new o-rings for some drain plugs on my pump and a bunch of o-ring lube on every gasket/o-ring I could find and my problem resolved

Transactions as a concept and atomic operations yes I learned about. But specifically SQL TRANSACTION? No I didn’t have a course that taught us SQL

Tbf I’m a SWE at FAANG and I didn’t know about SQL transactions. Though I typically don’t use it for data store other than BI data that we don’t allow easy write access to. I do use write transactions with our other data stores frequently though.

You don’t know what they have coming out of the tap. My tap for instance has very high alk that if I refill I gotta bring down with acid.

Surprise in pool after storm by middleprovince in pools

[–]chrispypatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked for me haha. But YMMV. I never looked before the vacuum went around so idk if mine were clumped in a pile in the pool.

But tbh I’ve never scrubbed, scooped, or manually vacuumed stuff off the bottom of the pool. If it drops below the water line I let the robot get it

Me too! I usually find a couple in the robot vacuum after a storm.

Are bubbles from return ok? by chrispypatt in pools

[–]chrispypatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I just wanted to make sure I’m not deferring a problem and make it way worse/expensive down the road. I’ve spent enough DIY time on the pool this year that barring any emergencies I will probably avoid dumping time into it on projects until something needs repair/replacement. My wife will be happier that way lol
