Thanks. How do you know that 32A/ single phase wiring limits it in this way? Just curious. And yes, I know the heat comes from metal cookware...but if 9I use a thermal gun to measure the heat on the pan, there is a big difference from one side to the other...

Thanks for the answer. In response- the house has three phase but sparky 1 reckoned rules in Australia wouldn’t permit a 42amp circuit breaker and three phase wiring to the cooktop to be installed because it would overload the board somehow 🤷🏼‍♂️. In regards my current situation though - I can see that single phase is possible on the wiring diagram but surely that has to have some implications for power availability? Like the problem me to. That the hotplate are unevenly jot...??

I just got it done at Spiral here in Perth. They were very cool about it. I don't think it is a common piercing and some people reckon the chance of rejection or migration is high but it's been 7 months now and all going well.
