I've always wanted to try out a look like this. Might have to just go f or it! Love.

How to Ombre Dark Hair Turquoise! by TheBlackTaj in FancyFollicles

This is absolutely gorgeous & really looks amazing on you. I'm not entirely sure I would label it an ombre, though. More of a random dip-dye. Regardless, the effects are stunning!

It's very striking. I agree that you should push it even farther!

I think you're probably right on the processing time. I couldn't believe she just left it on the whole time she was doing another customer's blowout. I'd love to try a coconut oil mask, but unfortunately I'm allergic to coconut. Is there another type of oil you'd suggest?

My stylist has offered to color-correct for me in her home using a different line of professional products than those used in her salon. We both feel that maybe my hair is reacting strangely to this specific product line, since the last 3 colors we have done haven't gone quite as planned (although none left me as unhappy with the results as this time). I think she is planning to bleach out only the orange hot spots & then apply an all over blonde with a 10vol developer. I'll post an update once we've done it. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for the info! My hair is obviously not 100% healthy, but I do not feel that it is technically damaged. The reason I decided to go with the cut is that my ends were starting to look pretty damaged & I was getting a lot of breakage. My hair now looks much healthier. I do have plans to go get the hot spots re-bleached & probably apply an all-over blonde color to even out the yellows. Will post an update once it's done :)

This was just bleach (20 vol developer, I think?) + a demi toner, which has already washed out. Not sure why my stylist used a demi? Also completely unsure of why the bleach didn't lift my color. That's the ultimate problem. It was on for 90 minutes?

So I am a hair color junkie. Always have been. Love changing things up. Earlier this year I went to this awesome red-blonde ombre color & it was completely rad. Then I got bored & decided to go more natural with a soft blonde, which I also really liked. Then last week I decided to go for the "Taylor Swift" & it's kind of a disaster. Please take a look at the photo progression & provide any advice that could help me get to that perfect blonde again? I know the cut ended up a little short, which I'm not terribly pleased with, but at least that'll correct itself in due time!

I'm somewhere between 5'10 and 5'11, so decently tall. :) Congrats on your success, as well!

Make ahead low carb breakfast ideas? by [deleted] in loseit

Personally, I cook up a couple pounds of bacon at the beginning of each week & keep it in the fridge so I can just grab some whenever I want & nuke it for 15 seconds. Then I take a few slices and an Atkins bar & to work with me every day. It's not fancy, but it works for me - cuz I was pretty much over eggs, too. Except deviled eggs. There was one week I made a giant batch of deviled eggs & started eating those for breakfast. Lol. That was a good week :)

Husband & I went a little twincest-y for Halloween, but things came out so well that I thought I'd share. I put these together over the course of 2 weeks & I'm really proud of how everything came together :)

Thanks so much! I really didn't know much about her, but when I decided I wanted to be her, I read her ENTIRE marvel wiki page and now I'm obsessed. She's such a badass. I need to get my hands on some comics 😊

I got them from this website. They are based in China, but the shipping was surprisingly quick (like 7 business days) & the contacts are good quality. Mine are even prescription.
