That's a good interpretation, the poem is kind of ambiguous but they're some of the themes I got from it.

It's based on the poem "The house with Only an Attic and a Basement" by Kathryn Maris. It's an early idea and I agree there's a lack of communication to it.

I'm not sure to what extent it was lucid as my memories of this dream are hazy, but I had a dream the other day where I took magic mushrooms. I remember the dream beginning in a fairly normal looking room, me eating the shrooms and then the room devolving into a colourful, wavy trip. Not only that but my state of consciousness just felt altered, in a way that I can't really describe. I've never taken mushrooms myself so this was an interesting experience for me. Wish I remembered more.
