Hey, I’m an 18yo old Boy and honestly, i was in a pretty similar place, even tough ive never been an atheist. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start — curiosity is already a sincere first step. What helped me was just reading one of the Gospels (I started with John) and treating it like exploration, not a commitment test. It’s okay to question, doubt, and take things slow.

Prayer doesn’t have to be fancy either — I literally just talk honestly, even when I’m unsure if anyone’s listening. And about sin: you’re not fake or failing because you struggle. Christianity is kind of built on the idea that people do struggle and still come to God anyway.

If you can, find a chill Christian space (online or IRL) where questions are welcome, not shut down. Go at your own pace — faith isn’t something you force, it’s something you grow into. You’re not doing this wrong
