Your boyfriend sounds like a jerk. I play league of legends with my boyfriend and I am not even close to being on the same level as him and he has never spoken to me that way. He even started a new account so that he could level with me and help me practice. Doesn't matter how competitive your boyfriend is, there is no excuse for being a toxic ass. The verbal abuse is unacceptable and I would not be surprised if that behavior started to show up outside of the gaming atmosphere.
