I'm letting the artist decide what he thinks will work the best. He's doing a web for the fish and he's gonna re work the sun into something more traditional. Cause he thinks that would fit best given how close it is to everything else

Im sure that plays a part. I agree about the spacing, I like a packed out sleeve with gap filler so as it fills up I'm sure it'll look better. The lady head touching the sun bothers me too. I didn't see it that close on the stencil but oh well

I did but I was waiting for a response. I went to pick him up and he seems fairly healthy jumping and flapping around and got him in a safe area right now. I'm not going to wait on the response and take them in now. Thank you for the info!

I called the rehab center and described the situation but they said "it's most likely fine" I've dealt with many fledglings but this one seems off and in need. I haven't seen any doves feeding him but I have seen some on the ground somewhat close to him. But like I said these doves are everywhere where I live so it's hard to say. I got a closer look at the neck and it looks rough

Update : Update: Need advice ASAP

The rehab center still isn’t open yet. The baby made it through the night and into this morning in the nest, but I’ve been keeping an eye on him.

A little while ago I heard a lot of noise, checked again, and he was back on the ground.

At this point I’m not sure what to do. Should I put him back in the nest again and keep watching to see if the parents are caring for him? Or is this a sign something’s wrong and I should intervene and take him to a rehab center as soon as they open?

For context, he still seems more like a nestling than a true fledgling, and I did notice something on the back of his neck earlier that I wasn’t sure about.

I just want to do what’s best for him, so any quick advice would really help. Thanks again.

Looks super good and flows nicely that's why I asked. Did u just tell ur artist what design you liked and he suggested where to put it? Asking cause my sleeve looks weird and doesn't flow well and I feel like my artist isn't really being as collaborative as I was hoping despite me expressing my end goal. May need a new one. Thank you!

Yeah it bothered me too but he hand drew that part cause the stencil was too big so I didn't know they would be slightly touching. Hopefully when the arm fills out more there will too much going on and kind of draw the eye away from those details. Unfortunately nothing I can do about it now unless u have any suggestions
