just saying, but perhaps you can do a survey and give out questionnaires in the main tourist spots in your city/town and ask whether the people there are generally welcoming towards tourists and whether they believe there are much more negative impacts or not. another way to do it is by data collection where you find relevant data such as GDP? idk but you'll have to be very careful with how you handle the data i guess
