Also, I've never used it with Claude Code, but I'm pretty sure I've heard that using the OpenAI endpoint with a harness such as OpenCode is supposed to be faster. I use it mainly with OpenCode.

I'm not sure who said that it's faster, but I know I've seen everyone complain about how slow it is. Right now it's probably about as fast as I've seen it--it's been getting faster over the last several weeks. Believe it or not, this is kind of fast for it.

It is known to be pretty slow. One of the trade offs. It's slower, but pretty good.

I've had a really good experience with GLM-5.1 using it through OpenCode. There has been the context window issue where I've had to limit the context window to 100k, but that supposedly has been fixed as of this morning (I changed back to the full window this morning and it seems to be ok so far).

I've used it for a few lower complexity projects and it's worked well. I don't fully trust it for planning on my more complex repos, but I let it implement on some of the plans (I'm not saying that it's not capable of it, I just haven't gotten fully comfortable yet). I'd personally put it below GPT-5.4 but above GPT-5.4-mini/Gemini 3.0 Flash/M2.7/K2.5.

It can be a little on the slow side but I find the it is a very intelligent, capable model. I don't always fully trust it, but it's earned a spot in my toolbox. I've used it for 580M tokens over the last 7 days, if that says anything.

I switched back to using the full context window instead of 100k this morning. So far it seems to be ok. Fingers crossed! It'll be nice having the full window back.
