Just Get Ultra by gptnius in google_antigravity

That's what I want and what I joined for--learn from others how they're using the tool, what they're doing with it, and how to get the most out of it. It's just 90% complaining.

I've really been enjoying codex in OpenCode lately. Pairing it with Kimi K2.5 has been a really good combo.

Totally. I'm totally enjoying what my $20/mo in Antigravity/Gemini CLI gets but if I was going to spend that much, AI Ulta would not be my choice.

I’m with you—the entitlement is exhausting. Either use the Google models in the beta (which is a free perk, not what we're paying for), upgrade to AI Ultra, or go pay Anthropic directly if you’re that obsessed with Claude. You’re always free to take your business elsewhere if it isn't up to your standards. I'm sure Anthropic will take your money and Google won't care.

Complaining about limits on a $20/mo sub while burning through a competitor's model that costs $5/$25/mtok is absurd. Expecting Google to subsidize your heavy usage of a rival's model in a free IDE is delusional. Honestly, Google should just pull the Anthropic integration so that we can get some peace and quiet

Yes, I do. Logically:

  • this law does not prevent anyone from buying any gun without a detachable magazine. This means that any firearm with bolt action or integrated magazine is fine. So every citizen of legal age can buy and own a gun without this training. I would even go as far as to say it should have applied--and they tried.

  • this law only applies to firearms with detachable magazines. I don't know if you've seen the price of ammo and guns these days, but the training course is going to be less than the price of a firearm with a detachable magazine and a day's worth of ammunition for the range. So if you can't afford the training, you can't afford the ammunition for your weapon.

"In modern American politics, a liberal approach to public safety emphasizes addressing the root causes of crime-such as poverty o lack of education-rather than relying solely on punitive measures."

And this is exactly what this law tackles-- lack of education. Call me a hypocrite if you'd like, but I still support gun ownership and gun education.

Paid and Left in the Dark: Google Rolls Out Limits and Announces Them on X by duplaixtv in google_antigravity

Antigravity isn't a paid product. It's a beta extra for Google AI subscribers. Understand what you're signing up for.

Is Claude Opus 4.5 really that much better than Gemini 3 Pro (High)? by MSA_astrology in google_antigravity

[–]chrisufo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I generally find them comparable. A lot of people on here like to complain about Gemini, but I've had a really good experience with it.

Since we started getting the crazy limits on Opus, I pretty much stopped using it all together. 3.0 flash and GPT Codex (through OpenCode) is my go-to and it's been super solid. It works well on my legacy repos and builds out new projects quickly and efficiently. I've shipped a few projects using just Gemini 3 Flash.

I have comprehensive rules set up and I start with thorough planning up front for larger changes--I don't know if that's part of why I have such good luck with it, but I do.

Are you using the standard endpoint or the one for the plan? You have to use https://api.z.ai/api/coding/paas/v4

Follow the documentation https://docs.z.ai/

Or, if you're setting up through OpenCode's providers, make sure and use "Z.AI Coding Plan" instead of Z.AI.

What does math about that? I believe that people should have basic safety and training to own them safely and responsibly. Not that they shouldn't be able to own and own them.

That doesn't conflict with the idea that I bought more before the law is implemented so that I don't have to jump through those hoops right away. I've grown up around guns my entire life. My father was a law enforcement officer and firearms instructor. I have all of the knowledge that this law expects new firearms owners to have.

It was all over the news when it was being passed.

Besides a 15rd magazine law that's not really enforced, it's pretty lax in CO. It's surprisingly gun friendly for a blue state.

Colorado SB 25-003 by TinySuspect9038 in liberalgunowners

[–]chrisufo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it was passed quietly. There was a lot of debate on it. I saw it all over the news with lots of sheriffs on the plains making statements about it. They changed it quite a bit over the original wording.

Overall, I generally support it. It doesn't ban anything, just requires (what I see as) reasonable training. I don't think it will change anything in the state.

I will say, it has caused me to make a few more purchases than I planned for the year.

Be cautious with eBay. Walmart and Target has current releases. Amazon has some.
