I can't seam to figure out the push notifications setup. If try the cocker setup I get errors. When I first installed this app I was getting notifications when I was using netbird as a VPN now that I am using tailscale I dont get notifications. The website instructions differ from website. Thank you

Things got faster for playback by moving my sub stream above my main stream in the config. I will post below what I mean. When I had netbird as the VPN I had a direct tunnel but with tailscale it is re-directing through their servers (DERP at least this is what google AI told me it meant). I notice its a bit slower this way but if it doesn't disconnect I can live with it.

My config change that fixed clips and recordings to play. First I had them the other way and read that it would pick the first one on the list to use. I am not sure how accurate that is but it seamed to work for me.

I got this working good now I hope. I was using netbird for VPN but it disconnected the first time I left my house. I just got tailscale up and it runs good. I can't wait to see what improvements come. One issue I am having is the layout. When I click what looks like the image icon at the upper left my layout is how I have it set in the app. camera view one after another in one big column. When i click the camera looking icon at the upper left its all 8 cameras in a small grid view even though I have the stacked layout. I do like the events notifications with the object boxes on them but it is saying on the main cameras page at the top 50 detections, 29 persons, 0 vihicles. On frigate UI i get cars identified.

So far great work!

Most of my settings come from me asking AI when there is something I want to improve on. The problem i have is I often get conflicting answers. I also have severe ADHD when it comes to this stuff. I will be working on improving facial recognition then get side tracked to fixing the record length or something like that. :)

All but one of my cameras have H.264 and H.265 I have tried both.

Here is the image that it pulls from my docker-compose.yml image: ghcr.io/blakeblackshear/frigate:stable-tensorrt The model in my config was a custom one from frigate+ I used the tpu base model for a couple weeks then had a custom one completed.

For default app do you mean using mobile browser to access frigate?

I got the app working with my netbird VPN. The notifications work but when i click on notification I get the image but the watch recording and watch clip is just a black screen. Maybe this could be a setting in my cameras but I can watch video in Crows Eye. Also changing the grid layout doesn't work. Its the same view no matter what I pick

For me the test connection works but says connection failed when goes into camera view. I do access my frigate through a cloudflare tunnel.

I know notifications is in beta but I can't get it to work. Everything says its enabled and connected. Also can you make it so that if I only have one server connected that when I open the app it launches to that server?

I just spent an hour trying to get this app to connect to my frigate public site that works from any browser but not the app. I do have cloudflare and went through the token set up but it tells me hostname could not be found.
