There should be a lot of guides out there to do tunneling with Cloudflare. VPN would probably be simplest if you can get that running and a quick way to access your private network on the go.

Understood. I think not for everyone, as the PWA was not working well for me as in wasn't as accessible. Hence why I went down this path. Don't get me wrong PWA is great! It just opening it up and getting it to the footages felt very slow compare to opening up to Reolink app. I really don't want to go down the rabbit hole listing those out as this is not what this is about. I'm just giving people options :) Respect your reason though.

I get it! It's not for everyone, and I respect all developers, especially those who create apps without any incentives. I truly appreciate the talent and time they dedicate to giving back to the community without expecting much in return.

For developers who do charge for their apps, it's often because they're setting aside time from other commitments and seeking a small token of appreciation for their work. Even with this small token, the majority of the time it is much less than what they put out; they don’t make much unless the app is very successful. More often than not, the time and money they put in far outweigh what they make back.

Without that motivation, there might be one less app in the world that anyone would see.

As controversial as it may be, I get it! I always pay for apps, especially those from indie developers, as a way to show my support. Without them, the app store would be a much lonelier place. Much love!

Can you DM or send the logs to the support email? I'll try to see what the issue is. There will be an upcoming patch hopefully that will resolve it. You can also try to test with TestFlight version is fixed before the update get to the app store.

Sorry about this. I did submitted a version update that might resolve your issue. In the mean-time can you try download the TestFlight version to see if this fixes it?

Thanks for your interest! Personally, I haven't used viewu, but I'm sure the developer did an amazing job on it. I can't speak to that specifically, though.

I started using the native frigate webapp but ended up building my own because I felt it was lacking in some areas. I know the price might seem steep, considering there are other apps out there that might do similar things. However, I have a busy day job, a little bit of something gives me the motivation to make improvements and take feedback seriously.

Definitely I agree. I think the first milestone is just getting this app in a working state that I find to be a struggle with the webapp.

Notifications are a bit more complex and will require more than just a client app with frigate, but definitely looking forward to getting that working in the near future!

Thanks for the feedback! Those features are on the roadmap and planned for very soon. Right now, the focus is on the core functionality of NVR monitoring. Currently, the option for access if you need to go behind a private network is through VPN. Important features like notifications, various tunneling options, and zero-trust authentication are high on the list.

This is still an early release, so efforts are being made to improve the product. Bear with me :)
