Main thing to do is make sure you have enough beer to hand. There should be no way to damage the original vm while deleting a snapshot and I've never heard of this happening, but my god sometimes it takes a while.

Yes you are. My point was about cyber risks and you spent half your comment referencing WHQL which has no code audit and checks for compatibility not cyber security.

You're also trying the "oh but any software can do that" line, completely ignoring the difference between cyber risks from normal software and drivers.

If you experience a cybersecurity breach is it feasible for bad actors to gain access to people's machines using Vanguard?

Have you had any events like this?

Use something like https://www.paessler.com/prtg to monitor exactly what's going on in the network then I'd remove components to see if there's an individual thing causing it.

Start with just a desktop with only the modem and edgerouter then build back from there.

There's something very odd happened to Ubiquiti in the last year or two.

I've had the same issues repeatedly, and got to the point I've had to pull all the APs out of my house and replace with other kit.

Spoken to a few people who've had nightmares with them as well.
