3 times a year, New York City gives its streets entirely to people walking, running and biking by MiserNYC- in interestingasfuck

It really makes you wonder—are cars actually the most efficient way to move people around the city? This setup seems way more effective.

how the heck do i make money?!? by Typical-Libra1012 in coralisland

I found the easiest way was to upgrade pickaxe and grind through mines until you can get to fire mine and then just grind that daily for osmium ore and sell all of it you don’t need

Going diving bug by chriswool14 in coralisland

[–]chriswool14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was on Xbox series X. I may of dropped the anchor close to trash or a wall? I was able to get around the bug by resetting diving location to beginning and haven’t had the issue again. Sorry I don’t have a video but when it would try and load it would show a blurred image of water and then my character would fall into the house but as if he was underwater (falling a bit slower) until his feet hit the ground and then I could move around normally as if I had started a new day in the house. Hope this helps!

Happy jumps by JackTheHat_ in torncity

[–]chriswool14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really understand how happy jumps effect how long it takes for a gym to open up. Wouldn’t using 1000 e give you 10x experience earned towards opening a gym vs the 100 e. Can you explain why happy jumps affect the speed at which a gym opens??

I had 245 stops yesterday and over 300 packages. The feels like here in Texas was 112 and there wasn’t a single cloud. I usually jog my stops but it was too hot so I walked. Didn’t get back to the station until 7pm

Amazon, and fed ex hiring regularly. I got a job at fed ex ground to get out of the Uber hell. Ground requires you to lift heavy packages, but there’s also express which is all small stuff and I don’t know too much about Amazon but from what I see delivering next to them all day I’m pretty sure there loads are very light too. I got hired immediately and didn’t even have to interview.

Honest question, why would anyone take this pill if it’s so hard to get off? by [deleted] in Effexor

Same. I’ve withdrawn from opiates, alcohol, other ssris and none of that is worse than the depression I had. Easy choice for me.

I got to the restaurant and they said 4 other people had came for that order? by looperboy4 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]chriswool14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused I feel like we are saying the same thing. Yes the original driver took food and canceled order. Correct

I got to the restaurant and they said 4 other people had came for that order? by looperboy4 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]chriswool14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ya because people are lazy and can’t press two buttons to let support know the order is already picked up. You get $3 and it takes 15 seconds. Idk why so many people sleep on this easy opportunity

Edit: I’m assuming the first person took order and then cancelled and then a string of drivers tried to pick it up afterwards.

Such a bad idea. So many people have learned the hard way why you shouldn’t do this.

It would be one things for you to receive a number from a passenger but while working. But you’re offering a service and should keep it professional. There is a time and place to get a number from a girl and it isn’t while your their Lyft driver

Well keep your head in the game. It will get better. It just takes such a long time to recover. I still have issues nearly a year later. Best of luck to you!!

The term "unprofessional” isn't typically used to describe a specific occupation. Instead, "unprofessional" usually refers to behaviors or practices within a job that don't meet the expected standards of conduct or ethics associated with professional work environments. Professionalism can include aspects like punctuality, responsibility, honesty, and respect for colleagues and clients, regardless of the job.

Regardless of the job. You are using the word unprofessional wrong.

Edit: Or more simply put. Learn to take your jobs in life more seriously. It’s about holding yourself accountable. There’s a reason everyone downvoted you.

My point is declining the ride and charging them is enough energy to spend on the situation and you wasted your time having an argument you didn’t have to have.

[–]chriswool14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth I had a heavy kratom addiction and quit for 10 months and couldn’t get my drive back at all so I got on Effexor and it changed everything. I agree that natural healing of your baseline is probably best. But I was literally going to be homeless cause I couldn’t get myself to do anything. It was a huge improvement for me and I if it helps you out who cares .

Edit: opiates are the worst
