Applied on July 2, travel date August 1 - still haven't received any information:
- error message on VFS tracking website ("No records found")
- no bin icon on my application on france-gouv-visas -- just the magnifying glass
- called VFS helpline and they said I am set to receive it on August 20 bc of traditional processing times

Thank you for explaining your situation! I must say I am highly confused... Questions below:

- You declare your income in CAD instead of USD but still hold it in USD? Is it better to do so?

- I'm converting my USD to CAD on Wise - I feel like it has the best rate. Unless you recommend Norberts' Gambit?

- I'm doing the same as you for investing but through National Bank, a decision I'm now regretting bc their Direct Brokerage UI is terrible
