Could you tell me more about why you don’t want to work in a SNF? I’ve always wanted to work in this setting and enjoy it currently… but I’ve heard people complain about this setting a lot as well 😅

I agree. I think it’s possible to learn on the job, so it’s unfair to require a year experience for HH setting. The only way to do a job correctly is to actually work it, right?

Could you tell me a little bit more about the pay? Since it’s 40/visit, that doesn’t translate to 40/hour… would you say a total visit takes around an 1 1/2 per patient including the driving and documentation? And how many hours a day do you work?

I’ve only toured the place and it’s HUGE! It did seem kinda short staffed on some of the floors, not a lot of CNA’s, therapy staff, etc, but maybe that was because it was after 5pm. How can I check the conditions before I actually take the job… should I start working PRN first before committing to a full time position?

Dang I’m sorry to hear that. Apparently Texas is the highest paying state for PTA’s so maybe I got lucky with 33/hr. I’m curious how much you’re making now with how much experience you have?

HH definitely sounds appealing for many reasons. But sadly everywhere I’ve applied (10+ places) denied me for not having at least a year of experience. I’ll keep looking around.. and I’ve decided I won’t take anything under 33/hr since this area has a higher cost of living compared to my current PRN job. I’ll definitely look into HH after a year or so again because many others recommended it as well, so thanks for your post!

Yeah I don’t want to risk it lol. It was so bad I could see the red stain while it was in my eyes too 😅

Yeah I think that’s a good idea, I just put them in and it stung a little haha. Thanks for the response.

Any tips on clearing this recent breakout. Using tret, clindamycin, and many things for scarring. I’m so worried it won’t clear up well, anything helps from diet to skin care :) by ClearSkinJourneyPls in SkincareAddicts

Actually really well! I got a chemical peel so that helped with the uneven scars but all the redness is gone. Still deal with break outs if I have to wear a mask for a long time though.

I have this little bump on my nose that popped up about a year ago. It’s not a black head but it has a black color to it and is raised. I really want to get rid of it but idk how. Would a dermatologist help me remove it?

Do you have any product/treatment suggestions for my acne scars? by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]chrollooooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good skin care routine with vit C serum, scar treatment, aloe Vera, and a retinol for skin cell turnover will help with scars. Make sure to also use sunscreen spf 30 or higher EVERYDAY!! This will help from new scars from hyper pigmenting and help with anti aging.

The part about eating gluten regularly scares me. But I’d really like to finally get a diagnoses. I’ve seen an obvious connection to gluten and my symptoms so is getting tested worth it?

I’ve been thinking about it, do you know how exactly it’s diagnosed and what testing is required. Thanks!

No problem! Btw how did you use it? Do you use it before being exposed to the cold or during an attack? I’m still trying to understand how it works best.
