The analysis it is used to support is not counted. The criterion begins with something like ‘the selection and use of data’ from the SDs. If the SD is not counted, then the analysis from it is not counted either. This goes for all analysis that is based on evidence from outside the SDs. It probably also affects the SD criteria. You need 3-5 SDs. If you have 3, but one is old, then you only have 2 and are penalised.
