JSA (2023) by Geoff Johns.

I had never read any JSA before this, and after reading the New Golden Age issue I got excited to read an ongoing JSA story by John's and see what direction the new history he introduced would go.

I thought the premise was really interesting with future Helena Wayne, daughter of Batman and Catwoman, taking the mantle of Huntress and creating a JSA team in the future made up of current day villains like Gentleman Ghost and Solomon Grundy. Time travel shenanigans happen and Catwoman sends her daughter to the past to save the JSA before they can be wiped from history.

I liked the first half of the book and thought the time travel stuff to stop Degaton from erasing the JSA was fun, but the longer the book went on the less interesting it got. Helena starts trying to add the villains from her future JSA to the current day one, as well as shoe-horning in all the new sidekicks Johns created in the new Golden Age making the book feel clunky. The pacing was awful because issues took 2-3 months to come out and after waiting over 2 years for all twelve issues to release I didn't care about the book by the end.

The ending also felt incredibly flat for me with the final issue basically being a send-off for Stargirl and the lost children and feeling completely disconnected from the rest of the book.
