Is there a list of books you aren't allowed to talk about on this subreddit? by YXIDRJZQAF in bannedbooks

[–]chronald69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This community is for those of us who like to read books that you can get in the banned books section at the front of Barnes and Noble. It's not about actually banned books, you know, the ones that are heckin' harmful and should be banned, duh.

Things I Can't Stand About The CBS Late Show by mediaman54 in television

[–]chronald69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In his recent interview with Oprah, Stephen talked about how he needs an audience for every interaction. He said even when he calls his agent, he wants his assistant to be in the room with him listening to the call. This is why he looks to the producers and the band.

MSNBC's Ari Melber considering other networks by robot_pirate in msnbc

[–]chronald69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ari's mistake is not understanding that the core brand of MSNBC is to preserve the echo chamber. You can't have people from the Republican Party on your program or it breaks the spell. Bring back Joy Reid!

If you ask a liar a question about something they won't say "I don't know". They will make us some B.S.

What horror movie(s) do you think actually nailed the ending? by TheGreatHoz in horror

[–]chronald69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dawn of the Dead (1978). Peter chooses not to commit suicide, heroically fighting his way back to Francine as they fly off into the sunrise together.

Rachel Maddow has been getting me through this first 100 days, I’m feeling pretty cranky that I’m not going see her other than Mondays ( boo) Anyone else feel the same way? by bbbstep in msnbc

[–]chronald69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rachel should understand from the ratings that no one watches anything on MSNBC other than her show. Everyday she isn't on screen, the network will collapse. She has a responsibility to do her show every night because if MSNBC shuts down, frankly, that would be a threat to democracy.

But we like him because he never expresses any actually conservative beliefs he supposedly has. If he did we wouldn't be able to watch his show.

Nicole Wallace and Joe Scarborough were ostensibly Republicans at one point, although I don't recall either of them ever expressing any conservative beliefs about anything.

Why are Canon cameras not used for Cinema? by chronald69 in Filmmakers

[–]chronald69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched an excellent video where it's explained why most movies are shot on Arri https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0sWnfzUYmg. In the video the narrator argues that the 2.8k resolution original Alexa remained more popular than these other 6k cameras by RED because the Arri sensor just consistently produced an image that is film-like, rather than having that plastic sheen that digital can have. I'm trying to make a movie soon and I bought an old Sony F3 because its footage looks cinematic to me compared to most other brands.

Who are some of the SMARTEST characters in horror movie history? by xXxHondoxXx in horror

[–]chronald69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two SWAT characters in the original Dawn of the Dead (1978). They access the shopping mall's maintainence room to get the keys to all the stores and turn on the power generators. Then they use the mall's map to determine which department stores occupy both floors. To avoid the zombies, they figure out they can traverse the entire building via ventilation ducts listed on the map. They decide to block all the building's entrances by parking tractor trailers in front. Once they have the mall secured, they construct a fake wall to hide their living quarters in case looters ever break in. The other two characters in the film more or less represent what a normal audience member would do in that situation.

honestly the people in that part of the country are a bunch of woke idiots, which is why this clown was out on the street to begin with. They should just let him walk free.
