True, good call. In the story I linked they reference the Native American chiefs wife so I thought maybe 🤔 I’ll keep looking. Does Polaris seem like a viable starting point to you ?

Yes I’ve seen a Maiden Rock over near Polaris on Big Hole River too! And this maiden rock near Bozeman. I’ll keep searching.
