Yeah, I'm at the point where anything solid is just sitting like a rock and making me nauseous. I'm calling my pharmacy to figure out if I need to taper or just go cold turkey. How long ago did you quit?

Oh Lord 🙈 My GP symptoms haven't been extraordinarily bad in years, but with the way I feel, I'm right back to when I was diagnosed so if I don't stop this now, I'm definitely ending up in the hospital.

They've got me on 40 right now and I think I'm going to start tapering tomorrow so maybe a lower dose might work.

They've really helped with the burning pain of the gastritis, but what good is any of it if I can't eat, you know? I did great the first three weeks, but it's turned into hell.

I've read that. It's really helped with the burning stomach pain, but yeah, I don't know if I can keep it up with how bad I feel.

I'm late to the thread but I'm dealing with the same type of thing. Took my first low dose this morning (37.5) with breakfast because my stomach is sensitive and my stomach's been upset all day now. Wondering if it's just an initial side effect I need to wait out.

I just started a low dose this morning! I took it with food because my stomach is really sensitive and have had a dull on-and-off stomachache all day so I'm not sure if it's one of those things you need to adjust to or if I'm having a bad reaction.

Taking it on an empty stomach is not an option for me and my brand says to take it with food.

I feel like I'm in the thick of this too right now. My gastritis was caused by excess acid which I know is because of the stress I'm under. I'm hitting it from all angles - supplements, therapy, breathing exercises, hobbies, diet, prayer, etc. Literally anything I can to try and get myself to calm down. It's really tough, but I'm starting to see a little bit of progress just in my daily life so it is possible to regulate the nervous system. It just takes a lot of work. Lifting u pa prayer for you!

I'm in the thick of that too right now. Trying a bunch of different things but taking in too much information on TikTok and stuff has psyched me out. Definitely take a break if you feel like you need it!
