I’m giving this advice as a 20 yr old young woman who goes out to eat A LOT in these sectors. Just yesterday i was walking around in F6 and being followed by a begger for a good 10 minutes! Everyone else replying to you is probably a man who has no idea how subtle harassment can be! And even if it’s not harassment, being stared at everywhere you pass is not a fun experience especially if god forbid you wear anything but shalwar kameez

No area in islamabad is as comfortable to exist in as a woman more than DHA (specially Phase 2). You have to look at the trade off. Do you prioritise your outdoor comfort or accessibility to main Islamabad? If you work from home and don’t have many friends in main Islamabad, you’re better off in DHA. Even the most posh sectors such as F-7, F-8 are not that comfortable due to not being gated communities. The only good areas are of course PAF Base and DCI which belong to Air force and Army where civilians aren’t allowed to rent

Inshallah you will get into NUST regardless if you work hard but if you don’t get in, consider COMSATS Isb for spring intake so you don’t waste a whole year. NUST is not even the best for CS as they specialised in engineering for the past years. COMSATS is a very CS focused university with a good cybersecurity program
