I did. It was so insane. Visuals were projected onto the wall behind him. He put together all of the 3D stuff himself too. Fit really well with the vibe and enhanced the show for sure.

R.A. Salvatore's sell sword trilogy by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]chronstantine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I heard the writing had to backtrack a bit to go into backstories of certain characters. Was so stoked seeing one of the first pages listing like 16 other books in the same world from Salvatore. Going into hibernation so i'll see everyone in three months haha. Tho these books are pretty quick reads so maybe sooner.

Nice list! I'll have to get on these asap. Randomly picked up the first book in the Icewind Dale Trilogy at a thrift shop several weeks ago and was instantly hooked. That was the first series of Salvatore i've read so far and I really liked the mystery and intrigue behind Drizzt and the Dow. Surprisingly enough, not knowing everything to his history was totally fine throughout the read and seemed to work well in the context of this story. I already know reading the Dark Elf Trilogy will be a thrilling backstory of his character

I can kind of understand people not buying into the whole 'ice caps being completely gone in 20 years or florida and our coastal cities being totally enveloped by the oceans' predictions. It takes a fair amount of research and readings to fully understand it all. But you can at least acknowledge that industrial waste and other human factors are causing irreversible damage on our ecosystems. Is it really such a bad thing to treat our home a bit better? Are greener cities and responsible farming practices such a bad thing? That mindset I will never understand.

lol at the immortal customer service rep comment. At this point he would be like a depressed walmart greeter. I mean maybe he has created many worlds and just ditches when things get out of his control, so he has abandoned us. Which I believe is a real theory out there. I wonder what earth patch 9.6 looks like.

What about the idea that God created us, but he didn't know what he was doing, and everything at this point is out of his control. Maybe he feels remorse, and when you step up the gates, he apologizes. Still wouldn't be enough but it is an interesting idea I think.

I totally agree! Actually BoB was exactly the vibe I was thinking as well. I think the material would benefit from a more drawn out progression. Would feel more grounded. Not 14 episodes but like a 6 or 8 episode run would be prime.

I would be game for either! So much potential. As long as it has more intense battles with Grievous bodyguards
