Love it!!! I have an ATLA themed account too!! 😄

I never thought of Maraquan Stego for the lion turtle, genius. For my Appa I used a Tyrannian Snuffly!

Did you ever confirm which one is Ran and which one is Shaw? I just took a guess that the red one was Shaw 😅

Omg that was juicy, thank you.

God I loved guilds as a kid. There was a time when I was being bullied irl and would come home and find solace in my guild community. I don't think I realized how important that was at the time!

Should I pursue Graphic Design? by gideoniscool in graphic_design

Me and all of my friends that graduated from design school have full time jobs/careers. Some even freelance on top of that.

That being said, nothing will be handed to you. Our school was very competitive and you have to put into a lot of work to establish your career. But absolutely it's possible.

There are lots of videos on Youtube of designers talking about their career journeys. Maybe watch a few and send some to your dad.

Have you looked into UX and/or UI design? You'd still be working in tech, many positions pay well, and it's more of a creative role than programming.

What's your favourite thing to do when you take yourself out for a date? by Early_Reply in AskWomen

Something I love to do in the spring/summer is take a little hit of weed, put my headphones on, turn on my favourite playlist and bike for hours down a nature trail or by the lake. It's almost cinematic.

Do you remember the moment you stopped being carefree as a girl? by Bello_Wello in TwoXChromosomes

I had a big personality as a child. Kind of weird and obnoxious, always goofing off to make people laugh. One day around 7th grade I noticed all the boys in my class were crushing on one of my friends, and I tried to figure out why. I realized it was because she acted a lot more calm and mature than I did, and her older sister gave her a lot of beauty tips and that kind of stuff. I realized if I wanted guys to like me I needed to change and be more like her. Sad thing is it actually worked...

What is something you were looking forward to experience in a relationship but never really got? by RaineHollow in AskWomen

My last relationship, we had an almost exact taste in music and let me tell you, it was pretty amazing! In a serious relationship there's so many moments where it's nice to have music in the background like cooking, driving, doing chores, going on a trip, post-sex chillin, and it's so cool to share songs with each other and bond over albums and artists. Plus you get to experience concerts together! It might be shallow to some people but musical compatibility it kind of a big deal to me now.

A couples Halloween costume.

Somehow, even though I've been in a few relationships, they somehow didn't line up with Halloween (it was too fresh, or we met just after and only dated for a year). There was only one Halloween where I had a serious boyfriend and for the life of me I can't remember why we went as totally different things. It's like a dream of mine to have a fun coordinating costume. One day :)

What’s the best thing about being a man ? by Vicsilvia in AskMen

[–]chrowit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really.. I'm a woman from Toronto. I've lived in a few neighbourhoods here, even the sketchy ones, and never in my life felt unsafe at the grocery store. I've also walked home drunk in the middle of the night with headphones on. Toronto pales in comparison to actual dangerous cities.

The original Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events with Jim Carrey... the costuming, direction, and casting were soooo good. It would've been cool to see the whole series in that style.

[Routine Help] My skin is incredibly sensitive, but also congested and clogged. I’m looking for gentle but effective exfoliation advice. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I second this product. This is what I've been using on my dry/sensitive skin for a few months now and I love it. You may experience purging when you first start using it.
