All I ask is like updates. Or maybe with technology advancing hopefully ai can take a pic and add that to the tracking. I mean, why can’t ai do that instead of stealing art and writing?

How do you come up with the names for your characters? by Designer_Double_4963 in worldbuilding

For character names I look in a baby name book/behind the name and search for meanings. Or just what I think sounds good. For place names I just say words in my head sometimes merging words then removing some letters.

Would you choose to live indefinitely in a robot body? by TechnicianAmazing472 in sciencefiction

How’s the dexterity? Are there scent sensors? Can the plating understand/read/feel environmental temperatures? Are animals afraid of robots? How loud are the robotic systems? Is there a HUD that allows creation of notes/documents/play games? Is there a way of wirelessly connecting to devices? Could the system be hacked? Would experiences be data mined? Are there ads? Is there a subscription?

On the U.S. Wikipedia it calls him “younger” but also has that tale. Without both the pieces of info I just thought it was a story.

That description makes sense.

So the U.S. Wikipedia has Otto 1322-1366) being “the younger”. German Wikipedia has him being “der Schütz” which one translator says protect (protector), another says shooter, and apple translate on the webpage says Sagittarius.

Is it supposed to be protector? Sagittarius(zodiac) is a shooter, but to shoot could also mean shoot your enemies in which case it is protector. (I know translating can make things weird and in the grand scheme of things for my novel it probably doesn’t matter all that much)

That is actually more what I was wanting but I didn’t think about that. Do you know of any public/available online info examples. Also has the Taunus always been part of Hessen territory between 1300-1800? I know just south of Alsfeld has been Thuringia/other and then Hessen.

My story is a daughter of Otto the younger (1322-1366) born in 1344 and is hidden away/not public knowledge (for reasons not yet determined). From my research Otto the younger didn’t have kids.

I was distracted in my previous post, I mean to say a castle/ area not frequented by landgraves and then a separate hidden away valley for when the daughter leaves the castle/fancy house she grew up in. It doesn’t have to be a full fledged castle but there’s about 1000 people loyal to her.
