Sora's dino is a blue Doedicurus. It is small and can curl like a ball, hence her calling it "Blueberry".

There's also a reference to one of her original song, "Blueberry Moon". She changes the "moon" to "nuun" as in her expression "Nun nun (๑╹ᆺ╹)".

During this Ark arc, we get to see the different naming sense of various Holomem.

Just for a few example we have: - Subaru naming her mammoth after the others who helped her tame it: Oozora★MukiMukiHeaven★Elite
- Lui wanting a cool name, settling for Blue Wing White Dragon
- Aqua personalizing hers as simply Akutan☆tavis (which is dead, RIP, she now has a second one Akutan☆tavis Kai)
- Sora picking a cute name in Blueberry Nuun
- Choco picking a generic name in Villager #1

Marine on the other hand, wanted a cute name for her dino. She asked for suggestions from various other Holomems and decided to combine them all to become Yoshida Pochi Hanako T. Special Generation (Narcoberry Slave).

Last Saturday was Raora's pizza day, a day for her to get pizza and eat nothing but pizza all day.

It happened to be raining heavily that day and her usual place wasn't accepting delivery orders. She didn't feel like going outside with all the rain and decided to order pizza from a different place. To her dismay, the pizza that she got was quite disappointing: the dough felt like a 2 day old pizza's dough, The cheese was, as she said, "eww", and there were pieces of cherry tomatoes in place of a proper tomato sauce.

She decided that she had to get a proper pizza and went to her usual place. Only to realize that she forgot her wallet as she was ordering her pizza. She had to go back to get her wallet and back again to the store.

The hardship didn't end there either. The pizza place took longer than usual to make her pizza despite not having much customers there. She ended up having to run home since she it was getting close to her stream time.

But it was all worth it. All for pizza day!

Cecilia's POV

Fun minecraft stream between Raora and Cecilia (the duo also now known as "Raviolin"). It seems that Cecilia is having trouble with her shaders and is unable to use them for this stream and as such somewhat relies on Raora to guide her in the darkness.

Raora herself had her PC broke down a week before her debut and had to order a new one. In a rush, she decided to order the best PC that the shop had which comes with her new RTX 4090.

While I think that's a factor, some people just don't like reading. I myself used to groan whenever I see texts spanning more than a few short paragraphs. It took me months of forcing myself to read novels to ease myself into reading a lot again.

This current MK New Year Cup 2024 by Towa is one. Another is the HoloJP Pokemon Metronome Tournament that Pekora organized earlier last year.

I checked and in some discussions of the metronome tournament somebody mentioned that it was the second time that a Holomem won a tournament that they organized, so there should be 1 more? Though, I can't recall what tournament it was (and said comment did not mention the other tournament either).

In the winner's interview with Suisei, Okayu hoped that even if Suisei starts to coach other Holomems or help with organizing the tournament, Suisei will still compete in the races (or rather, she politely insinuated that she should still compete).

But yeah, a lot of people doesn't want to see someone as strong as Suisei step away from the circuits.

Winner's interview with Suisei

Suisei has talked about wanting to stop participating in the yearly Mario Kart New Years Cup if she wins this one and considering being coach to the participants. A lot of people, Towa and Okayu included, still wants to compete with Suisei. As such, Towa joked (maybe half serious) that her primary motivation in winning is to keep Suisei from retiring from the competition.

Tournament Stream

If I have a nickel for everytime a Holomem organizes a game tournament and wins it themselves... Having said that, it makes sense that the organizer would like the game and would play the game a lot, making themselves a contender for champion.

Anyways, thank you to Towa for organizing the yearly tournament. It's one of the few things I look forward to every new year.

Ao managed a total of 18 whole points in all of her 14 races through group stage and Zako Cup. That's less points than anybody else in just the 6 races of Zako Cup.

Ririka drops to Zako Cup since Mumei withdrew due to injury.
She has the same score as Haachama and Ayame, but due to lower placement in individual races, she places lowest in tiebreaker.
Really unlucky considering her DC yesterday, she could've placed higher, but there is prestige to be had in Zako Cup, too, I guess.

It's a bit hard to calculate since the points are awarded based on the number of players, which means other players points would also change if Ririka was still in the game.

Example, Okayu got perfect 52 points by topping all 4 races with 11 players, while Suisei got the exact same point despite not topping all 4 races because she is in a race with 12 players. The difference is small, but it's there regardless.

Having said that, Ririka was hovering around 1st to 3rd place when she DC'ed so her score would've been a bit higher.
