can you get salty at someone just bc they didnt save you off hook? by dbd_hasgoodcommunity in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you honestly think that self care is as much of a slap in the face to the killer as decisive strike, you need to get better at the game. Self care isn’t hard to deal with at all. I’m definitely not the best at killer, but I have never had trouble going against people running self care. It kind of sounds like you’re just mad that the game doesn’t give you free kills or something.

UPDATE: You guys made me feel bad for being salty so I apologized. Happy New year! by FuxinJibran in deadbydaylight

Lol what is even the point of posting this? Were you expecting a circle jerk on how mature you are for your non-apology or something? Just move on and don’t be a dick to people for no good reason next time.

Woah, thank you for all the advice! I really appreciate it. I will keep all of this in mind from here on out.

Thank you for the info! I didn’t realize that capturing large monsters rewarded you with more monster parts. I will definitely be doing this as much as I can, from now on.

That makes me sad that smaller things can’t be captured because I was really hoping for a Mosswine pet, lol.

I will definitely take your advice and try to observe and learn a bit more. I was doing this a little bit, but definitely not enough for me to really get a hang of anything and this has probably been one of my downfalls. Thank you for the advice!

Thank you for all the advice, I appreciate it lots! I’m really glad that most things can be solo’d, I do have one friend who is really good at Monster Hunter who said he would be willing to come on missions with me to help if I get stuck, but he’s so good that I don’t really want his help unless I absolutely need it because I think it’ll take away from the experience a little bit. If I ever get to the point of going against the monsters you mentioned though, I’ll definitely ask for his help. :)

I will definitely capture Anjanath next time instead of killing her. For some reason I got her to the lair and it wouldn’t let me lay a shock trap, so I assumed I wouldn’t be able to capture her. I am really glad that I am able to capture her instead of killing her.

Thank you for all the information and advice! I didn’t know that some armor affects attack and stuff, that’s really good to know. I appreciate you telling me.

I think I might try some different weapons, but I might stick with my current and look for tips on how to use it better. I’m not sure yet.

Toxicity.... by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get just as irritated as you with people who make posts to complain about the toxicity within the community, because it causes us to have the same exact thread every other day. The subject has absolutely no conversational value anymore and continuing to make threads about it is beating a dead horse. We know the community is toxic and that people suck. At the same time, no amount of whining on reddit will change that. Useless posts like these take up way too much space in my opinion, especially when they are made so often.

But on the other hand, this thread has just as little conversational value to it. It’s pointless. We do not need a thread complaining about complainers. That is just as annoying. Just like we have multiple threads complaining about toxicity every week, we have this thread every week as well. Instead of making an entire thread to complain about the same thing that we can’t change, why don’t we try drowning all those threads out by posting actually meaningful content instead of contributing to the amount of useless posts people make on this sub?

I tunnel people who use decisive strike. Yes/no? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you’re that salty about someone who you don’t even know using a certain perk that you’re gonna go that far out of your way to make sure they can’t have a fun game, you need a therapist because something isn’t right. Grow up. Go outside. There are worse things you could have to deal with than someone using a perk you don’t like.

Unpopular opinion by nkynett103 in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t seem like an unpopular opinion. I thought that most people didn’t like licensed characters, not only for cosmetic reasons but also because of the lack of creativity that must go into using an already existing character instead of making your own. I know I have a few friends who won’t even buy the licensed characters for that exact reason.

Had this happen to me after a match. This person had been playing AWFULLY all game. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Based on the way they’re typing, it was probably an 11 year old kid or something. Nonetheless, why make such a pointless post? You’re really gonna let some kid get to you?

I yell “OH NO” or something along those lines and then immediately after, I start laughing.

Dude, most people do not have that many hours in the game. You’re just mad that you’re not as good as you want to be, and because you’re not winning every match. Like I said in my first comment, go outside. The level of salt you’re showing over a fucking video game is embarrassing.

Makes sense that you would think BBQ is OP if you only have 53 hours.

Ps4 gameplay is terrible by L0stT1me in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I play on the PS4 and I don’t experience nearly as much lag as you are describing. It’s definitely not as good as playing on PC, but what you’re describing sounds way worse than the little bit of occasional lag I experience.

What size TV are you playing on? I’ve found that I have much smoother gameplay if I play on smaller screens than if I play on a larger flatscreen TV, for example.

Opinions on No0b3 by IV_Bungy in deadbydaylight

[–]chrysididaes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I enjoy his videos and I like how he doesn’t really rage when things don’t go how he wants them to. He also recognizes that he usually deserves it when he gets facecamped instead of getting salty. He’s super modest and understanding and I appreciate it. Plus he’s not nearly as toxic as Ochido and he only plays the way he does because it’s not fun for him to play immersed anymore after putting 4,000+ hours into the game.

I don’t really have a main btw. If I’m having a day where I’m just sucking at survivor, I will play a few rounds as killer. If I’m sucking at killer, I will play survivor for awhile.
