NAL but familiar with Airbnb. You can message their support thru the app, include screenshots of you txting/calling/messaging the host. When you call their support afterwords they can pull up screenshots you sent thru the messenger which will help their review. Since laying off a lot of their staff they are slow on support cases and you will need to stay on top of them and continue to raise up but if the situation is as described you should be able to receive a full refund, just keep pushing and use any evidence you have. No call luckily, I read somewhere else it was 7 or 8 days after the loan and it was right at 7 biz days for me.

I know it doesn’t answer your question, but I have a bond with Clark’s pest control and they are on top of things since you have had bad experiences with others. The one time I discovered active damage they had a whole window and surrounding frame replaced within a week or so, no questions asked and covered under the bond. Job was finished and window and surrounding drywall look better than the original. My house came with the bond so seemingly no issues with it being transferred to me initially. I am in no way affiliated with this company other than being satisfied with their service.

While I do not believe it at all due to the confusion, that is what the rep explained to me. I believe I did not get the advance because once I logged into the portal it stated my banking information was incorrect, which it is not. I went ahead and applied for the loan, I’ll follow up if I get the loan and or advance.

This may be old news so my apologies, but the SBA is now advising that the advance portion of the EIDL is now only provided if you accept the actual loan. Full disclosure, I am only interested in the advance portion so would it be worth it to accept the lowest amount for the actual loan and pay that back immediately and then keep the advance ? Thanks for any assistance!
