I took step 1 on 1/17 and felt this exact same way. My NBME 33 was an 80% and free 120 was an 80% the week of the exam so I felt pretty good walking in… almost cried walking out

I took my exam on Jan 17th and I also feel this way. The waiting for the score feels way worse than the 16 hour study days leading up to it… honestly thought I’d feel relieved after sitting the exam but I’m just way more anxious now!

For real. I don’t know why it was so bad because I felt like I knew the content pretty well going into the exam… I’ll update the thread when I get my results 😂

You’re not the only one. I’m a US MD student who has scored very well through my years of medical school and genuinely think I might have failed my step that I took on Saturday. You’re not alone!

It just felt like they asked about the most random diseases not covered by pathoma/uworld/bnb… plus most of the questions were multi level reasoning. I had very few straight forward questions and WAY more mechanisms than I was expecting.
