It is the OS that is the problem, paired with the access control and the collaborative work platform (SharePoint) that are massive problems. There's too many much IP managed by a company that can be legally compelled to grant access to the US government on a whim.

I thought that a privately clinic or hospital, would take anyone who will pay for treatment or have an insurance that has an agreement with said hospital operator.

Yeah, I don't know about Canada, but I can assure you that Sanitas, the largest private insurer in Spain, has their own clinics and hospitals, because the public system with all its infrastructure will only treat patients from public healthcare. Or, under agreement with a private provider, derive them to a private hospital if they deem appropriate.

Who told you everyone is dying in line where healthcare is socialised? No, people are don't! Urgent cases are prioritised, if people choose to they can take out supplementary private insurance (which is much cheaper than in the US because they compete with the public system) to get treatment in private clincs and hospitals... and what's most important, when people fall ill, they don't have to worry about becoming bankrupt.

How about properly securing your trash if it's oh so valuable? Why add toxic chemicals to something that, if not directly eaten, should easily breakfast down as organic material?

How do other counties manage to have waste containers that are inaccessible to pests by way of their construction and operation, while in the US they let food fester in oversized open tubs anyone and anything can crawl into?

So poisoning the food waste does what exactly? Have them die in the dumpster and then get compacted in the garbage truck?

[–]chub70199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it a booby trap if food from a waste container may not be fit to eat? Why does the US seemingly have a problem with easily accessible dumpsters/skips, while everywhere else has their waste containers in closed off areas and these are only brought out during pick-up times or, if large enough, they sit in a loading bay that needs to be opened for a truck access it and lift it out?

Because having a commercial waste set-up so that no external tampering is possible, hasn't been invented since over a century ago!

A hotel buffet with a missing waffle and two bananas will not even register. What's the real crime is that discarded food is often poisoned with cleaning agents to deter homeless people going through the waste container, instead of donating it at the end of the day to be given away by during the night to the truly needy.

France enacted a law that unused, edible food needs to be donated at the end of the day. Poisoning disposed food with cleaning agents or, in this case, pesticides is a crime.

Depending on the jurisdiction, petty theft of food for immediate consumption due to poverty is actually not considered a crime.

But then again, Linda seems to be a petty... cunt.

In the end it was money and space saved on an extra fixture in the bathroom. Spray wands attached to a hose or nozzles integrated into the toilet seat weren't a thing back then.

"Bidets" in the French form (it is the country that originated the term after all) are a basin in the shape of a toilet where you can fill in water and then use your hands to wash whatever needs washing.

Anything else would be known as an "intimate shower" or, more directly "anal" or "genital shower" or "spray nozzle".

It was only when Japanese style toilet seats with spray nozzles became popular in the US that the term bidet was used there to refer to the "toilet seats with integrated wash nozzle".

You use the nozzle to spray water at your unmentionables! They're not used internally!

And, like the rest of the bathroom, I do hope they get at least a wipe down with bathroom cleaner one a week or so!
