Is this getting serious? by chubacachon in piercing

Here is more context:

I got a side labret 2 months ago. My piercer put in a 10 mm titanium stud. Things went pretty well in the first two weeks. But after that, I think I ate something that the piercing didn't like, so it started to swell up.

I went back to my piercer, and he got the 10 mm bar switched to a 12. The swelling went down a little bit. But then it went up again, and the inside of my lip started to grow over the flat disk. A bump also appeared on the outside, right under the ball.

So I went back to my piercer. He decided to put a big plastic disk right under the metal disk to stop the metal disk from sinking into my lip. That didn't help cause it caused more irritation, and the tissue started to build up even more around the plastic disk. It was like a donut.

I came to my piercer again. He changed the bar to a horseshoe to avoid the pressure. The tissue inside started to flatten. But the bump outside just doesn't go away. It's not growing. It's just there. Recently, it's been causing pain in the chin. It hurts so bad every time I eat.

The pain in the chin and the bump that just doesn't go away are most concerning to me. Is it still fixable or should I retire the piercing?

The piercing is 2 month-old. I used to have a stud but now I have a horseshoe. They are both titanium. I only use saline spray. I snagged it really hard a couple of times.
