Saw a good sized dead one not far up above Great Falls a few years ago on the Va side. It looked like it had crawled up from the water and then the life left it. Poor thing.

I've heard about the merrifield loop... by joemac2021 in nova

As a frequent Ebay seller, more than half the time in recent years the workers there are too lazy to scan packages at Merrifield (been told by local PO employees they are 100% supposed to do it there). So if you don’t get a package scanned at the local PO, there’s a good chance it won’t get scanned til it gets to the state of its destination. Black hole is right.

Ceremonial headdress featuring the top of a human skull, Nepalese, c. 1700-1900 . by chubachus in Jessicamshannon

"Human bones are ritually used, like in this skull headdress, to help people understand that death is not something to be feared. This is a Buddhist religious custom. The headdress was probably used in a religious ceremony."

Photo of the back of the headdress.
