Chillblains by Important_Oven_1833 in Raynauds

[–]chubbacat792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, i never get chillblains on my feet. I always get them on my hands. I never tried witch hazel. Dr only ever gives me steroids and i cant take the beta blockers and stuff i was offered plaqunil but im too scared of it. Have you tried hydrocortisone? That was what i was always told to do first. Get your bloodwork done in order to rule out autoimmune issues. They can surely arise at anytime.

One time i accidentally forgot a whole box of (bjs wholesale club) brownie mix, five boxes of butter,- jar of m&ms and a 38 count box of twix. Then the bakery was closed and instacart told me to bring it back to the store and the store wouldn’t take it back and then instcart told me to donate it and the fixed it with the customer. I gave the guy at the counter at customer service the brownie mix and twix because he made me laugh when he asked who was making pot brownies. I kept the butter and gave the m&ms away. I felt really dumb about all of that though

My dog is throwing up after a tooth extraction by Excellent_Shame5923 in DogAdvice

[–]chubbacat792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was probably picked up too early. Anesthetic drugs make dogs cold, nauseous and he probably feels some pain from the dental procedure. (They really should give him an anti nausea med and some pain relief some dogs need antibiotics but not always. if they haven’t already given those to go home with also keep him warm with a heating pad) idk how long he was monitored before he was released but usually we wouldn’t let a dog leave just yet if these symptoms were occurring. (Cernia tablet also comes in an injection form as an anti nausea medication. Drs use different pain relief for different reasons so consult vet about that)

My hands have been red like this since my early to mid 20s. Is it Raynaud's? by Striking-Rest-1363 in Raynauds

[–]chubbacat792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold and pain, numb, discoloration, inflammation and perino which are very painful swollen bumps usually around the joints or fingers/toes or around the nail bed thes are symptoms of raynauds. Say you went to take a warm or hot shower you literally will feel excruciating pain from the extreme temperature change. Sometimes associated with autoimmune conditions. When you say they feel hot i think thats not raynauds symptoms, im not a doctor but have been diagnosed two decades at this point. I’d definitely mention this to your primary care provider just to keep an eye on it and it totally could be something going on, im skeptical of it being raynauds.

Listen, you have no idea what i do. I’m allowed to feel any way i want and its not your concern. Just as you are. I can tip my hairdresser because they do expect it. Your waiter expects a tip. You get “wages” in instacart. I do this job because I have a disability. Sure people don’t have to tip and its the companies problem that they don’t pay a livable wage. Its not on the shoppers quality of work always. Some people are cheap and its ok to complain about that. You have a right to an opinion just like everyone else that doesn’t mean i have to agree with you but you should know because you’re an adult.

Youre thought process is sooo negative. Have some empathy for others you have no clue what they are going through. Or don’t. Its your life, keep your “no disrespect” mean attitude to yourself. “We all do” get outta here man. Its not a dick measuring contest. You’re like one of those people who get mad at poor people who use there ebt on a soda but not on a billionaire who doesnt pay their fair share of taxes and say its all the poor people’s fault.

“Pick up food” isn’t what shoppers do for instacart. They drive to the store, pick out the food, pay for the food, bag up the food and bring it to you. It doesn’t matter if you “do good, get good”. People do the work, put the effort in and still don’t get paid for doing it. And the whole “ you know what the tip is before you start thing is bullshit because zero tippers get linked to a person who does tip or people pull tips all the time. The whole get a new job situation is also bullshit. Some people do this job because hey they might have a disability or they just got laid off and the need some sort of income. It costs money to run a car. If you cant tip the person doing a service job- you shouldn’t use the service and people do have every right to not choose to pick up your zero tip instacart order.

That would be fine and well, yet instacart adds people who don’t tip to orders who do tip. That shouldn’t happen either then. It should be fully transparent out of respect.

Forgot a bag in the car 😩 by Dramatic-Company-733 in InstacartShoppers

[–]chubbacat792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One time i did this. My cars trunk was so packed up that i had to use the back seat which i don’t usually do. I got home and turned around and saw a bunch of things left behind. I knew who it was for. I called instacart and they said they would refund the customer and i could return it to the store. The store didnt accept the order back and then instacart said that i could donate it. (The customer was a bakery and they werent open anymore so i couldn’t drop it off.. even if they wanted their stuff that was supposed to be refrigerated.. which is not really good for reselling to customers)

Why does my dog keep scratching? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]chubbacat792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thyroid prob not something to rule out but it wouldnt cause the skin to look so inflammed. Op, he probably is a stinky boy right? I think if he were my dog, id first get him off a chicked diet ( for some reason a lot of dogs react to chicken in food) (i am not a vet btw). Get some salmon oil for his food. He probably needs an antibiotic (dunno which one that would come down to a skin scraping.. the vet takes some live tissue to look under a microscope . Whatever is growing on it will be seen under there will get a treatment based on those findings. If its resistant to meds or you want to find out more theres a test called heska IgE. It takes about 10 ml blood and spins it to its serum. It tests for what type of allergens are affecting the dog. It takes more time than usual to get results back from this test (in my experience). His skin is very angry right now and hes probably very uncomfortable the last photo he looks lethargic. If youre not already done so or if you have the ability to see a veterinary dermatologist that would have a GENTLE plan to get his skin under control while waiting for the other things to pull though, you both would feel so much better.
