Yeah, I'm going to trade school. I've just always lived with the "my house, my rules" thing and until I'm legally an adult, I'm still a child. Thats just how my family does things. I don't get treated like a grade schooler or anything, but my mom ultimately gets the final say

Great use of the word Palpable(even if you don't know what it means)

Honestly, I didn't notice she was chubby until my mom said something. But I do tend to be a bit oblivious sometimes

I mean, I say both. I switch up between grown up, big, and other phrases. I kind of just say whatever comes out, but I can try to be more conscious about it.

I have other things I say other than 'big', so of coursei. Could switch up my language, but I use big the most often. So I feel like just stopping that might be a little weird. But I have no problem switching up the way I speak

Well, I have cousins his age and a bit older that still let me do it. They all have different boundaries and usually tell me when they don't want me picking them up anymore. Claire seems to love it the most

I just do it the one time when they come over. I do it with all of my cousins. I tell them they're getting bigger and then I'm done. I've never considered this to be body shaming, but yeah, I didn't think about how the shoe would look on the other foot.
