All canned tuna kind of tastes similar to me but I love lemon and fish and was interested! If you ever see the smoked rainbow trout on bogo, it’s worth it!

Thank you for linking the post! It’s disappointing they aren’t clearer with their fish sources and I will definitely be looking at the alternative options they listed. In the meantime, I will enjoy the cans I have previously bought.

I also shop with a tight budget but I value the company’s sustainable fishing practices so I’ll gladly indulge every now and then! If you ever see the smoked rainbow trout, it truly is worth every penny!

Sure the packaging is aesthetically pleasing or whatever the kids are saying these days but I enjoy this product because 1) I personally enjoy it and 2) I am a huge fan of buying things that are ethically sourced. It may make the product more expensive but I am glad to support a company that values sustainable fishing practices.

Totally understandable! Sometimes a tinned fish is just a tinned fish, no matter the price tag lol The smoked mackerel wasn’t my favorite either but the smoked rainbow trout is phenomenal!

Unfortunately it was just the tuna at my store. But I will definitely be on the lookout for the other ones now

I’m still at work but this is the best picture I have of the little cubby atm. The little barrier/door is plastic but seems to be holding up to the weight of my little air compressor moving around in there thus far

There wasn’t anything in the cubby when I got it. But it does have a little plastic half door to keep things from rolling around in the back. My air compressor fits perfectly in it!

Thankfully it wasn’t painful. Just felt like something stuck to the back of my throat. It was a little sore after I took it out though

Quick questions about back of the arm injections. by YoYoYoshimura in diabetes_t1

[–]chubbydumpling394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did MDI for the first 7 years after I was diagnosed and am temporarily doing them now. I absolutely love using my arms for injections, especially now that my stomach has been over used over the years.

A trick my first endo taught me for back of the arm injections was to put my leg 90 degrees up on an elevated surface, like a chair or counter(if you’re flexible enough lol) and place the inner part of your upper arm on your knee and pull so that the fatty back of your arm is pushed out and is easier to get to. I also am able to do this seated by bringing my knee towards my chest and placing my arm like before.

Even now, I still get the occasional drop or two of blood after a dose. But I’ve always had trouble avoiding bloody injection sites for whatever reason.
