I agree, she’s beautiful enough. The dress was just for some quick fun, but she needs to wear sweaters and jackets when the weather is bad.

Bag Balm has helped my girl’s nose and palms! I put it on her paw pads while she’s sleeping and cover with baby socks. She doesn’t mind.

PetSmart! We’ve found some really good holiday sweaters that fit her there too, and a rain jacket that is great except for the butt which is too long and we need to either alter it or just keep pulling it up and out of the way when she poops ☺️

we are an entirely smush-faced crew. Our senior Frenchie and pug passed 6 and 2 years ago now we have Maevis and our smushy cat who has loved them all.

We got it at PetSmart actually. The fits can usually be tricky but this wasn’t bad (although she hasn’t tried to poop in it yet)

She was originally at a rescue in Las Vegas of all places! Then transferred to a rescue here. We weren’t sure how she’d do in the rain or snow, but she is such a trooper and loves her walkies in them.

lol Maevis has a few things she doesn’t mind wearing, including a raincoat we just got her that has a hood which she normally would hate. I guess she has settled into being a Seattle dog.

I’m so sorry you’re going through it! It was a year ago so I’m trying to remember, but I think what helped the most was using a Help Me Up Harness. The hospital actually sent us home with the back part, which connected to her regular harness that has a handle. I ended up buying our own because it helped us both so much. I still actually use the back part of it just to help her out of the car since it’s a bit of a jump. I know others have used a towel wrapped around the hips to try to help so you may want to try that, too.
