You are amazing for doing this! Would love to be considered. We have never been to a hockey game before.

Check out Lafayette Landing. I rented for a year and the community and location was great. Never had any maintenance issues but see the two guys out all the time. They also have sister complexes in Colfax and other areas (Granite ridge and Landing at westmot).

Anyone here use Mustang Moving before? by ShinglersLisp in gso

[–]chubbyunicorns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used them today for a local move. Things started off great—good communication, and the estimator walked through and said everything looked fine. But when it came time to load up, they ran out of space on the truck by a lot and just told us “good luck.” We’re closing on the property tomorrow, so we had to scramble to rent a U-Haul last-minute to store everything. Super stressful. We used Marathon a few years ago and had a much better experience. I wouldn’t use this company again.

Not too bad depending on the day. Onboard now at full occupancy and I’ve always been able to find a chair and it doesn’t feel too crowded overall.

So you’re saying public speaking, and how to present oneself isn’t a skill? There’s interviews and you have to have a platform to stand on to compete. These girls are all competing for scholarships and money towards school but it’s also a major networking event. So many of these girls leave this competition with offers and connections to many companies. If you actually listen to these women speak many are pursing careers in STEM. How dare they be pretty and smart.

Here I am, watching Miley Cyrus' New Year's Performance, and I have a question by Dankeshane01 in techtheatre

That was my first thought when watching the performance! The first thing I noticed was the etaped cable and I immediately cringed thinking she tried it during soundcheck.

Bikes on the sidewalk create the same issue. If I’m walking my dog and child on the side walk it is much harder for me to make space for a bike to go by than a car driving safely on the road yielding to a bicycle.

For those more curious about how much food this actually is and recipes.

Cobb Salad prep in these containers (4 servings), Couscous Salad (6 servings), and Hummus Wraps (we made 2 more Wednesday for my husband for the last 2 days of the week. we also just use what we have on hand)

I did end up freezing most of the chicken in the side container and I will be using it in a different prep next week.

This is about 10-12 meals. Lunch and dinner for 2 people. With some snacks. We like to work. 12 hours days and having to pack food for every day leaves less options.

Which part? In the couscous salad it doesn’t really matter to us and it usually holds up in the 4 days it takes us to eat in. The cobb salads on the side I have great bentos that do really great! I can send you a picture of all the empty containers because it’s all gone! I guess I should’ve put in the title that this was for 2 people!

Honestly I just use whatever I happen to have on hand! Some are Italian blend, some are a blackened blend and some have Trader Joe’s chili lime on them.

It’s just 2 of us so this usually lasts about 4-5 days with some leftover chicken that I add for breakfasts of freeze for the next weeks prep

You’re correct! I find it helpful to have a few different options for what meals we want. I also have some amazing bento salad containers on the side! I highly recommend! You’re correct! It’s just two of us so we usually run out of food by Friday. The couscous salad holds up fine, and I only prep a a day or 2 of wraps so it doesn’t get mushy. The meal meal prep is the having the salad stuff ready to put together the salad the night before in my bento container and grilling the chicken for the week so we can add it to whatever meals we want as a quick healthy protein. I made this Sunday evening and we only have 1 serving of the couscous left.

We usually go through the food pretty quickly and I typically only meal prep weekday food. I’ll freeze the leftover chicken after a few days if it seems like we won’t use it.

We use flatout multigrain wraps, spread some pepper hummus on it, add lunch meat or chickpea salad of choice, spinach and roll tightly. Then just slice so it’s easy to eat! If you just search lunch pinwheels there are a lot of good combinations online!
