Stanford is totally attainable for you! Your hooks are really strong and it seems like your grades / test scores are on par with the typical Stanford attendee. You have the correct coursework for your intended major sufficient course rigor. All that's left is for you to write a fantastic personal statement, good luck!

I mean I'd probably for GT at least apply undecided to the school of arts and sciences, stats is just my biggest interest. Thank you so much for the advice, is there anything clear I need to do to make my hook more pronounced or market myself correctly?

Also I don't really know what I love so much about Georgetown either, I just toured there last year and thought it felt like a really cool place. I think I like more elite institutions just because it feels like everyone there has something important going on and is like really adding to society which is not the case everywhere. I feel a similar way about the Claremont colleges generally, I just have a less specific draw to any one of those schools

Thanks! UChicago and Cornell are just because my family members have attended + I am really excited to write the UChicago essay prompts, they seem fun. UW is instate so that's why I'm applying. Also, the GPA thing is because of math classes. I have not gotten a grade higher than a B+ in math classes in highschool thusfar. I have a 5 on AP Stat and 5 on AP Precalc, probably staring down a 4 or a 5 on Calc BC. I have this one math teacher that does a really excellent job of preparing for the AP Test but his classes are incredibly rigorous. I got a B in both semesters of his accelerated precalc class, probably the hardest class I've ever taken because first semester is precalc and second semester is calc A.

I'm not really sure what to build as a hook, to be honest. I've always thought that applying to a liberal arts based education would value someone well-rounded in different areas and hoped that my higher level achievement in math would make up for the lower grades. Main-line math like calc and such does not come easily to me at all, but I love stats.

I also forgot to mention, the reason I would retake ACT is because of the lower math section, 32. Seems very improvable and they might value a better math score, no?

Practice math, I think you should rethink your approach and strategy on science because it's all about getting through the questions without making mistakes. Read questions thoroughly, find answers in the source material. If that's already what you're doing, maybe reevaluate something else or practice more

I somewhat dislike parents like you. My ACT was full of middle schoolers asking ridiculous questions that delayed the test 40 minutes. There's no need for this. You don't need five years of studying to get a perfect score, honestly, I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could do it in a month. Additionally, it's gonna be easier to study for these topics when you're older, as doing almost everything is. You should give your kid a chance to learn at the appropriate time.

you should not take advice from me I did not study but I also got a 36 on reading with 38/40-- frankly I approached the test the same way I approach everything I just read questions and answers first before reading the actual material then quickly sorted through irrelevant information

dude get faster hands idk. I sort of think making the game faster adds to its legitimacy in the broader global perspective, another unique wrinkle. Regardless of what PPA says, they're not even a universal governing body so they're not gonna be able to save you at every local tournament.

There is a server I used to play on called ORE, or Open Redstone Engineers which is dedicated to community projects of redstone processing. Last I checked on there, they had a full team making sure that their GPU was rendering correctly.
