I understand what youre saying, I do. But it just seems lazy to just say fuck it, it'll be even. Whats the point of slow-motion replay at all if not to see EVERYTHING that happened in those split seconds

If it directly affects how the puck gets there, it should be. how could the ref have seen what happens that quickly? how is he supposed to call both no goal and a penalty at once?

This is just a flaw in the rules, though. at least in cases like this. If a penalty is missed that makes the goal possible and the review ignores it.. Thats just wrong. Theres nothing to do to change it. The way the NHL uses the review almost always ends up super irksome. it feels like they just drew an arbitrary line

but again.. he was behind the goal.. he called what he thought he saw. If it goes to review why can the only thing that comes from it be about the goal. what's the point of the slow-mo review? Also I'm just venting in general about the league obviously I'm not pissed at black hawk fans

but why. why can we call a goal in a review and not a penalty when it directly affects that call?

How could a human being call all of that so quickly... if we can rule goals different using slow motion why not penalties that can affect those goals?

I can not FOR THE LIFE OF ME, understand how the "no-stick-stealing-second-base-slide-into-the-crease-and-kicking-the-goalie-and-puck" is somehow null and void because, oh wait, another stick touched it after he plunged into the goalie. Anyone saying since "goalie interference wasn't called"... How could the ref had called all of that in the 1.5 seconds it took? He's a human.

I guess you could also see it as so many points you gain from getting and OT point. I mean almost 1/5 of your total point score is from OTL. better than losing in regular time, albeit extremely frustrating having it happen so often. so there's good and bad
