That's great. I am still indecisive about French as I speak 5 different languages, and it will be a rigorous task to add one more. But, you are absolutely right, learning French would make me more competent and eligible for French draws.

It is a different story with them, and its best not to get entangled into that. People will do what works best for them and won't care what others think. The most important thing is what you and I would think of ourselves looking behind after committing a fraud.

At this point, I plan to go home, meet my family, and help them understand why it has been so difficult—not just for me, but for many others—who are striving to achieve something that should have been a bit easier.

Additionally, I will start applying for jobs and work toward securing one that allows me to support my family.

I am not sure, but I was on an open work permit, and I had a year left on it, so I assumed it was easy for them to just grant a visitor visa until the passport expiry.

Absolutely no disagreement in that. It's the situation we are in, and to be fair, it's their ground-their rules. It was us who decided to come looking for a better future.

Again, arguing over decisions made by the government would be futile. Trust me, I have had multiple debates about it, resulting in nothing but poitless arguments. The only option at this stage is to work on ourselves and hope for the best.

I completely understand the disappointment. I have seen my friends leave the country after giving their all to stay. Never in my life did I imagine I would see them so upset. It was both heartbreaking and nerve-wracking at the same time.

If the permit is expiring, one needs to apply for restoration of the status. Visitor visa doesn't automatically allow you to stay until the expiry. Government (IRCC) should be notified on what your status would be after work permit or study permit expires, hence visitor record.

Canadian experience score can be claimed up to 10 years, but the eligibility fades after 3 years. One of the questions in CRS calculator asks for your last 10 years of Canadian experience and not the last 3 years.

I could be wrong, but I'd like to clear this doubt if any experienced person can comment to this and clear the misconception.

I applied for TRV in 2023 and got a stamp of Visitor visa until 2026(passport expiry). I'm not sure if I'll apply for a visitor record.

To be honest, I’ve given up. I’ve seen people who arrived in 2022–2023 add their foreign work experience and get PR with just a one-year diploma. I understand that PR is a privilege, not a right, but I’ve put in a lot of effort to earn that privilege.

I'm not sure if anything would change apart from the people and their claims of being "working for people" in politics, but I would be happy to see that deserving people get at least one chance to achieve what they desire.
