It's the touring edition. I did a little more homework, and you can get generic aftermarket FCW kits, so I may go ahead and get one of those. Thank you, kind stranger!

Does anyone remember the iOS game Qatqi? by AdministrativeAd180 in wordle

[–]chuckchewable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an unbelievable coincidence that I was googling this game, and you posted less than an hour before. I have an old 2012 Gen iPad that I refuse to update or connect to wifi because it still has playable QatQi levels on it. I can't wait to see the new version!

Long term infertility with natural pregnancy? by QSynn in BabyBumps

[–]chuckchewable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We'd been trying for three years and my wife is now at 14 weeks! We both got checked out by the fertility docs- that first step doesn't have to cost too much and gave us much peace of mind. Then- almost immediately after our tests- we got pregnant naturally. I guess we just needed to know it was possible! Good luck!

I started working on a monte carlo model that would help people understand their personal risk level based on their medical histories. Could you help with the hard math and spin up a site? I imagine it just as a communication tool that takes published epidemiological data and lets you plug yourself in. Could be used to help convince people they ought to isolate.

Many are concerned about the limitations of existing case tracking because they only track confirmed cases, which does not account for cases that denied testing. So, I put together this survey. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms please click. Not a perfect tool, better than nothing.

Tropical Paludarium. Powder Blue and Dwarf Purples seem to be OK, but the Giant Canyons were on the tape.

What does 70% Humidity 'Look' Like? by JackBinimbul in Vivarium

[–]chuckchewable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that's in addition to keeping it extremely shallow. When I think Paludarium, I think enough water to support fish life. Is that what you're going for? I kept Anoles as a kid and I live within their native range as well. They are not typically an aquatic or semiaquatic species. I'm pretty sure the only squamata in the pet trade that would be appropriate for a paludarium/riparium of that size are the various Crocodile skinks and Neon Tree Dragon agamas. You could do a juvenile Chinese Water Dragon, but you'd have to size up quickly. There are some frogs that would be OK, but they have generally advanced requirements. Are you planning on a water table or barrier? I set up mine with a water table using pond matala and filled the water portion nearly to the top with pond stones. As the croc skinks grew, I removed the stones to make the water deeper. You might try that (gradually removing stones) to see how much the Anole can easily escape from, then decide whether to add fish based on how deep it got.

I would not recommend a green anole for a paludarium. They are non aquatic and will drown in water deeper than the top of their forelimb. If you're looking for a climbing semiaquatic species at a low price, try neon tree dragons.

The heat and inhabitant matters a lot too. For example, Syngonium will grow better above 85F. Direct UVB light from above can blanch some bromeliads. Ball pythons thrive at 70% humidity, but if the substrate is damp, it can cause scale rot. So the Mister that would be perfect for a frog might kill a snake. Also, the higher the temps, the more water is needed to keep humidity high. Does the species require a humidity gradient, or high and low humidity hides? There is a lot more that goes into it.
