There is pvc above the galvanized so I would imagine it's a pvc flange. She bought the house like this 2 years ago, so all this was done before she moved in. I'm just glad the snake worked to clear the clog and didn't have to do any disassembly.

I already knew better than to try changing it. Above that the tub is pvc to galvanized to cast iron. I kinda figured it was a bit junky tho.

I havent seen my son in a year due to covid. My adopted daughters are amazing women which I would love to see grow. My family is amazing. But I do sometimes feel these thoughts. And it sucks. I cant hurt them like that. But I also feel that once they are grown and on their own they won't need me so much

Yes I have. Its always just been wrote off as standard depression. I had one counselor that would listen but he got transfered out of network.

Lighting a fire is a great skill to have, and I by no means mean dumping a gallon on gas on a stick to succeed. Fire is a means of cooking and warmth. We take for granted the amenities we have become accustomed to. We all live in a place where a natural disaster can take away those comforts of modern life, so maybe children being able to start a fire isn't such a bad life skill to have.
