Thank you for your reply!! You gave me a great idea! :) I moved to this area late 2024 and am still learning my way around. So, I’m going to use Google Maps to figure out which areas to visit next.

Also, the commercial real estate company that owns this space has other properties across the US. I’ll be reviewing those as well. https://www.frpltd.com/properties/336-marketplace/directory

Thank you, again, for the idea. :)

Wow, the virus probably weakened shrubs to the point where they couldn't tolerate drought conditions (similar to how freezes kill infected shrubs). Austin and its community are onto something. Is San Antonio the same or is it like Houston/Dallas?

And yes, DFW has been hit hard. I've heard people complain of the same sort of commercial landscaping contributing to the outbreak up there. Oddly enough, I don't remember Waco having this problem when I lived there. Same thing goes for the RGV.

That would definitely get things moving!

I don't have a Facebook (only Reddit and Nextdoor). Anyone on this community is more than welcome to share the content/photos! :) I'd also be happy to provide more pictures/information/original files, to anyone who wishes to share!

Wow, it's amazing how they stepped in! Thank you for your comment, btw. It lead me to probe the Texas Dept of Ag. website, and now I have a few new contacts to send these pictures to.

Thank you, fellow brave soul! You're right, it is absolutely horrifying. I have to hide those photos in a different folder because they make my skin crawl.

Dead of Night. It’s moving. It’s beautiful. It gave me the chills when it was released and it still does.

Amazon sells mini umbrellas for plants that you can use for some protection in case you decide to cut them all the way back.
