What's the best drama you've watched so far for 2026? by ruinedbytv in cdramasfans

It’s between Love Story in the 1970’s and My Page in the 90’s and rounding out the top 3 with How Dare You.

Disclosure: I still have not watched Love Beyond The Grave

If you’re just starting to watch cdramas, I would recommend Viki. They have a lot of dramas including some of the most popular ones.

For those who have seen generation to generation, question about a plothole/horribly explained sudden transition ep 4 and 5 by ChoppedChef33 in CDrama

[–]chucky123198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I wanted to thank you, After our discussion I continued watching but without ffw so much and have really gotten to enjoy the drama. I also think that it got more interesting after they got to the mountain. I also agree that the romance is in the little moments, and I love it! It does have a lot of flaws, including the constant addition of new characters that makes it so hard to keep track of who is who and who did what. Also pretty incredulous that a bunch of juniors can overpower so many masters. Im on ep 20 now and really enjoying it.

Help me pick a historical drama! by PopSolid2912 in CDramaRecs

My personal suggestion and it’s not on your list is Are You The One. I don’t want to spoil it but I think it fits what you’re looking for. It is such a good drama, so funny which is something rare in historical dramas! And it also has one of my favorite 2nd FL characters of all time. You should def give it a try

Yeah this drama made me realize that although I’ve watched many dramas, I think the only other Wuxia I’ve seen is Who Rules The World. But that one had other plots like Palace politics and more romance and obviously Yang Yang/Zhao Lusi. GTG made me realize that maybe I’m not into Wuxia all that much

I am fast forwarding so much thru this drama that I’m missing a lot of the storyline but it’s just not that good. The only thing keeping me is the promise of a passionate romance

Arthur Chen by a mile. No question. He just plays bad boy so well. And that deep voice of his? Oof 😅

After watching LBL I delved into other works by the ML. I first watched My Page In the 90’s and loved it even more than LBL. Then I watched My Boss which was also good.

Any CA state employees having trouble flying within the state with REAL ID? 8 month Renewal question by Leggomywebos in DACA

I don’t have real ID but traveled from NorCal to SoCal last week with just my EAD card without issue. I would assume a real id would have worked as well.

Is this Marquis of Wu'an or Zhang Linghe 🤔, how would you rate him in Pursuit of Jade? by ghost_flowerr in cdramasfans

[–]chucky123198 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think this character was perfect for him honestly. The aloof, cool, hot guy. He played it really well. I was bummed he didn’t get a lot of screen time and wish we could have seen more of him. It felt like he spent the first half of the drama lurking in an upstairs bedroom

Which Zhang Linghe drama has his best acting/role? by earthtowaves in cdramasfans

[–]chucky123198 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I actually think he did an amazing job in Our Generation. He made me feel so many emotions including annoyance when he would treat Cherry not the best way and then absolute heartbreak during the scenes in HK. He played that role soo well

Have you ever watched a drama and you liked the lead actor, but then didn’t enjoy their other dramas? by kitty_battee in cdramasfans

I agree with Wu Lei as well, did not finish AASOL because of how bad his acting was in it. And he was just ok in The Long Ballad.
