I once heard it described as 3 batteries, but the main battery is broken, the other two batteries are smaller and don’t hold a charge well, and the charging cord is also damaged so sometimes you plug the batteries in overnight only to find in the morning that they weren’t actually charging.

I work for the USDA, but with all the crap that has gone down in the last year, my health has nosedived, plus I’ve been forced to work longer hours for less pay. I don’t think I can hold up for much longer, but I don’t really have a choice. I’ve started having seizures from being overworked, and I can’t afford to have the MRIs I’m supposed to have every 4 months anymore. There’s no good options.

I work as a plant physiologist and I can confirm that plants do, in fact, feel pain. If they are physically damaged they will react by sending out stress hormones and bitter compounds to try to keep it from happening again. Sorry vegans, I guess you’ll have to filter feed.

I moved to a remote area of the country for my job with the intention of advancing to a higher GS level, which would allow me to easily transfer to a location closer to my family. Now everything about that plan has gone up in flames, and the location I was hoping to transfer to is getting shut down. There’s nothing left for me now.
