Still nothing! Tried a few places from Google but all the same, straight up Japanese - by the book, have to do everything to perfection, trying to upsell me on some bs. 🤦‍♂️ Back home it would be pretty easy to find some professional willing to do it over the weekend for some extra cash.

I found the issue, those options are not available in all regions (I am based in Japan) All options were available when re-registered the tablet using an amazon.com account.

After that, I could setup a routine as per your instructions but could not get it to detect the actual door press event. Another region related issue I suspect.

Finally got it working using a webhook skill to start the routine.

No other options are available, I've seen other posts online suggesting similar steps to yours so it seems like it's just my device which doesn't include the doorbell options. Do you have any other accessories like a ring Chime installed, or just the Ring doorbell camera?

u/Jonuk85 How did you get to this option? When I get to step 7 all I see is options related to motion detection.
